The Ariel Consort is a Portland-based multi-instrumentalist chamber ensemble offering an enchanting blend of musical voices. Led by flautist/pianist/vocalist Jen Bernard, the Ariel Consort weaves its unique voices into an evocative tapestry of hauntingly beautiful music.

A consort is, by definition, a highly versatile rotating troupe of musicians. The Ariel Consort can perform as a flute/violin duo, or can expand its personnel to meet your musical vision,adding such instruments as harp, cello, Classical guitar, trumpet or piano.

Types of Music

This extraordinarily eclectic group can perform exquisite renderings of traditional wedding favorites like “Pachelbel's Canon” and “Ave Maria,” as well as heartfelt Celtic and New Age airs, love songs from romantic movies like A Room With A View and Somewhere In Time, Classical and Baroque chamber music, Jazz and Broadway ballads, sentimental favorites like “Greensleeves” and “Scarborough Fair,” and can even lend a Renaissance or Medieval flair to holiday festivities.
